As Beijing prepares to host this year's competitions, Honeywell’s Customer and Product Support team is preparing to support you during your stay at this worldwide event. We will be welcoming customers and providing technical support for your aircraft (should you need it) through our partnership with Capital Jet, a Beijing fixed-based operation (FBO).
Our Global Technical Operations Vice President, Brian Davis, is deploying Field Service Engineers and Customer & Product Support representatives in Beijing who will be on-site to address your service needs before, during and after the event Aug. 8-24. I am confident with the support of our fully staffed 24x7 Technical Operations Center coupled with on-site technical resources, that your trip to Beijing will be worry-free.
We’ve also prepared to have the people and products in place to offer rapid response to your aircraft needs by positioning key spares at our Beijing channel partner, Jet Aviation. The rental of a bonded warehouse storage facility will minimize Customs wait time, resulting in improved responsiveness to your needs. We’re also reaching out to airframe original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and area channel partners to leverage our collective resources for seamless customer support.
So let the games begin!
We expect this year’s events will help boost the growth of the business aviation in China. We will be taking this unique opportunity to host a reception for you, our customers, during the event to get your feedback on how well we serve you. After all, the success of our team to support you is directly linked to your success as a business.
This venue also provides us with the opportunity to share some of our most popular technologies available today. At the airport, our team of experts will help demonstrate our newest products and services including Honeywell’s Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS), Gulfstream’s Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display (SV-PFD) based on Honeywell’s Integrated Primary Flight Display (IPFD) technology, and Flight Support Services, including our in-flight Blackberry service.
As you can see, we are anticipating a lot of business and private aircraft traffic to fly into the region. We just recently announced Donna Chase as our Vice President of Customer and Product Support for the Business and General Aviation business. Donna’s team will focus on business aircraft growth in Asia and Europe and take the customer and product support to a new level of service for everyone.
As always, I look forward to your comments or questions.
